If you believe the circulation numbers both papers publish, the Weekly distributes about the same number of copies as the Register Guard.
Actually, there is an independent review to verify circulation data -- the ABC report, done by the Audit Bureau of Circulation:

They do grill the publishers quiet a bit --no rubber stamping; I doubt the Weekly went through that.
