N\Mandrake 9.1 defaults to grub bootloader.  If you can't get root
access, you will need to get copy of the 1st CD in the mandrake 9.1 set.
When you get to the first screen that offers you a chance to make a choice
press the help key which I believe is F1 key. It will direct you to the
rescue mode, which I think is the F4 key. This screen if followed should get
you to a menu screen that should allow you single user mode access or
directly to change root password. I forget the details.
