I have only run this distro on my desktop which has no wireless (still in the
stoneage there). The main reason I like it is that it is mainly sid and it
installled
and ran. Most of my recent linux activity has involved customizing fluxbox
around
the gdesklets starterbar, (I like the OSX dock, and that is the closest thing I
can find to it). Also I have had a long history of browsers running very slowly
in linux and firefox is pretty quick as installed, I am going to work on
learning how to customize
firefox. Oh and it starts as a bootable linux distro, and it will probably take
a few folks of similar interests, but my long term goal is to find an easy to
work with
debian live cd to fork off into a fluxbox/openbox based distro that is slimmer
than most knoppix but has my favorite apps in it. So basically I was hoping to
get lots of intelligent feedback from the rest of you as far as posting it. And
now that I have shared my interests on the list, anyone with tips or similar
interests in learning how
to customize and remaster knoppix might chime in. I have a copy of Knoppix Hacks
and Firefox hacks to loan out somewhere along the way (I just got the firefox
book yesterday so I will probably hang on to that for a couple weeks).
