Jim -
I'm planning on being at the meeting tomorrow night, can you please bring the Mandrake CD's, so we can try getting my laptop to work??
Thanks -
Jeff

Jeff Call me @ 485 7310 . I am doing this on the list. I tried off list last time and got the wrong Jeff. Also see the following:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7.3-Manual/custom-guide/s1-rescuemode-booting-single.html
Once in single user mode man passwd or while a user. Alternately see:
http://linux.ctyme.com/man/man2325.htm
Test it from a terminal so you know how to use it when you boot single
user.
If this doesn't work call me or email me about next Thursday. Most people at
a meeting should be able to help if they have access to internet.

Count me in on this one - in fact I picked up a surplus Altoids at the
radio
club meeting last week.... :) Hey Jim, let me know what's up for the
weekend, if
you want to get together about getting that Mandrake 9.1 fixed on my
laptop.

OK, We're up to 2. I figure we give it until next meeting to see who wants in and then see about getting the parts. Penguin Mints work great too. Any small tin should be good. -Mike
