I remember when cnet was just getting started.  They had clueful people
then.  They fired said clueful people, or laid them off, or the people in
question left.  =)

This is true.  However, in order to qualify for the $999 lease, you have
to have a $500 developer subscription.  Now, if you know four other people
who also want access to things like the seeds, call yourself a company,
name the four as coworkers, collect $100 from each of them, and given them
a seed key upon receipt.  Apple gives you five seed keys with a select
membership.

Apple offers an educational membership for $100, which would be worth it
if you got a seed key.  You don't, though.  =(
