What the hell is "the whole geek movement"?
It usually consists of groups of individuals who do one, none, or more
of the following:
- Enjoys Slashdot
- Likes recompiling the Linux kernel
- Likes The Matrix, Star Wars, Star Trek, Douglas Adams, etc.
- Puts black lights in their PC cases
- Doesn't bathe
- Has a Linux bumper sticker
- Has debated Star Trek physics
- Attends SCA events
- Visits freshmeat.net daily... and installs every new app
- apt-get update's 2 or more times a day
- Is addicted to diet soda
- Is guilty of two or more of the following at: http://euglug.org/geek.phtml
And so on. Use your imagination. All of the above are fine if it's
your thing. It's just not MY thing or MY crowd.
Christ, I mention geeks and suddenly everyone denies everything. ;)

This is really quite offensive and I think you owe everyone an
appology. What is this crap about not bathing. I don't know
anyone I consider a nerd who doesn't bathe. I have known a couple
of people who didn't bathe. They were simply A-holes and didn't
have any characteristics that would qualify them as nerds.
(They also weren't hippies.)
Do you refer to blacks as niggers? And do you say they also
don't bathe?
Black lights? Where do you get these ideas? I think you need
to lay off the drugs.
