I know that GCC provides Coldfire compilation. But Agilent

Support is likely to consist of expert advice. It may include
creation of macros to extend support to instructions which are
too new for GCC. Or in the extreme case, extending GCC.
What I am looking for is recommendations for who can provide
support. Commercial support is acceptable. Even active forums
that provide support may be adequate. The customer is mostly
in Boise.
Cygnus Solutions is the kneejerk answer to any GCC support
question. Have you looked into them?
I think RedHat owns Cygnus now, so that may have changed things.
I have done a web search and found
http://www.microcross.com/html/why_buy.html
http://sourceforge.net/projects/win68k/
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=MCF5207&nodeId=018rH3YTLC00M91277&tid=tflp
The sourceforge project has just gotten started and doesn't
have anything yet. Freescale includes GCC in a development
kit. The most promising is Microcross, but I don't know
anything other than their web page.
I can look at Cygnus. Do you have experience with them or
know someone who does?
Hmm. Their web page doesn't sound like they do this sort of
thing. Is this the right page? http://www.cygnus.com/
Looks like they do financial software. That seems not so
close to gcc support. Am I missing something?
