PCIe is the emerging standard with a completely > different interface. Not a drop of backward compatibility there. -- I was looking at an Iwill DK88 (supports two AMD Opteron 2xx CPU's). The board provides PCI Express (PCIe) x16 and x8 slots for graphics and PCI-X 133 slots for other add-ins. For another project I'm looking at mobos with twin x16 PCI Express slots. New boards from Intel, Asus and Gigabyte with Intel 955X chipset suppose to be coming out soon which support ATI Crossfire. Time for more research and a visit to THG & AnandTech. _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
