If you're into bright colors (and I am -- it's just happenstance that
my three main machines are black right now), check out the automotive
paint suppliers.  Hotrodders have been doing metallics, pearlescents,
crinkles, irridescents, pinstripes, airbrushing, and all kinds of fun
color schemes for fifty years now, and I've seen very few of those
ideas on PC cases.  For the most part, PCs just have neon lights and
bumperstickers. (-:

Starting with your blue case, I'd consider a couple of polygons of
red-orange crinkle or gold pinstripes along the edges.  (OR, not
AND. (-: 0

Oh, and I do wax my cases.  It adds lustre, and it lasts a lot longer
on a PC case kept indoors than it does on a car. (-:
