#please treat this as a working doc to be expanded upon

How to make the Euglug website more useful to us, and to the community at large.

Who should be able to add stuff to the website:

################################
What should be available on the euglug.org site:

1. Event Calendar
w/ regular update to mailing list

2. Book Reviews

3. Mailing List Archives
Mailman Admin, Site navigation on archive pages, Google Search

4. RSS feeds for events and for new contents.
rss1.0 or Atom, should be generated automagically for all new content

When should the revised site be available: february

Why should we update a website that works fine and looks good:
It doesn't serve as an activating catalyst to grow the community.

Other topics discussed were, advertising (pros/cons); domain control (kbob)
tagging (del.icio.us,technorati,flickr, low usage of and interest in
on part of avg. euglugger), drupal, RubyOnRails, TurboGears, when
automated announcements feel spammish or don't.
