In case anybody missed it, Ilfak Guilfanov produced a work-around
for the WMF vulnerability that doesn't involve un-registering the
Windows Picture/Fax viewer (which some people need to get their work
done). Ilfak recommends uninstalling his patch whenever Microsoft
gets around to issuing their patch for the issue.

I consider Ilfak a "trustworthy source". He's the author of the IDA
