That is an excellent point, although there may be some that assume that is behind you I don't see a lot of info in course descriuptions that really emphasize clearly what you need to know before you get to real admin, work skills. After doing part 1 of the lcc course I can more clearly see the need for it, as I was finding out what I did and didn't know. That course seemed to cover too much for a rank beginner, yet in some ways I wish we got int more specific things beyond just the set up and navigation of a personal workstation.
I would prefer to take a course from a local group and have it last a few months, rather than to cram a lot of stuff into a few days.
