Vmware does not support 3d very well .. it used to not a t all, but I think theres a beta driver now or something... but in any case I've never been able to run intense graphic games in VMware with any degree of success.

I do run a lot of windows games directly in Linux with Cadega - www.transgaming.com .. its not free though.

Greetings all,

Well the Suse 10.0 install is now complete and working fine.

One of my big hangups about using Linux in a day-to-day fashion is the lack of game support. So, I went to the VMWare site and downloaded the trial edition to experiment with. After several hours and a complete re-installation of Suse later, I got it working and installed Windows ME in VMWare.

So, now for a question for all you VMWare users out there: Do I need to have windows install the windows driver for my actual video card or do I need to use some sort of generic driver to get my resolution up to speed. Also is there anything to be done to increase the Framerate of the graphics coming out of VMWare? The picture is really choppy.

Thanks again
Ron
