Jeff,

If your a 503 c3 you just missed a huge pallet of computers I could possibly have handed you - rats. Never fear though we have replacements rolling out all the time and with Vista a year away those are the specs we are shooting for.. so anything else older goes out the door.

What I would need is your TAX ID number, address etc .. and I'd need to get together with the manager of the workstation area .. but Im sure I can Juice you up.. and would be most happy to do so... or anyone else out there with 503 c3 tax status. I dont deliver though you'd have to come and pick em up. Shoot me an e-mail at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I'll see what we can come up with. If not immediately - there is no waiting list currently so youd be next in line. The paper work on my end will probably be the hardest part..

Okay guys, has some of you know, that I'm now working in the Atrim building, a mere block away from where OPN had they're office on Broadway and Willamette.

Earlier today, I was setting up a windows desktop computer with Win98 on the box, its been sitting in the back office for many moons, so, don't ask me how many. The office I'm now working at is LILA or Lane Independent Living Alliance.

Their Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program, which I now work with and my office is located. I was wondering, if you'd guys might be able to think about pitching in a donation to our deaf and hard of hearing program, a fully loaded compatible computer, monitor, tower, software, printer and modem software. (btw, they are a 503 (c3) organization)

One of the ideas, I am thinking of, is maybe having one drive with windows and one drive with linux? Okay, I see some of you are asking me, Jeff what are you thinking, here? Well, I'm thinking that those with the Windows knowledge can use their preferred computer language and I can use my linux knowledge along with my laptop once we can get it fixed?

Or maybe just one complete revamped Windows box? But these are the two ideas that I thought of earlier today and discussed with the D/HOH Coordinator this afternoon.

Any thoughts on this or suggestions?

Jeff
