I have been trying to setup a mail server on my home computer with exim4 on
Deebian Sid. I got it working such that I can send mail out (I am sending
this mail using that server) and recieve (I have gotten replies from

mail is using the mail command logged in as "martin" (recieving mail meant
for [EMAIL PROTECTED]). I'd like to set it up to work with
Thunderbird, my preferred mail client. However, I'm not sure what info I
need to server name and such. For example, do I use
pop.aomighty.homelinux.org or mail.aomighty.homelinux.org?

Exim does not provide POP or IMAP services, you'll need to install one.
I use dovecot, but cyrus is also popular.

The reason using the mail command works is because it is reading the mail directly from the spool.

Also, I did not see your original message to the list, only your reply to it.
