Some of you have probably heard about this already - saw a lot of hype
surrounding XGL lately. Someone created a live CD using it tho, and it's a
perfect opportunity to play around with it. It's mostly just eye-candy, but I have to admit I loved it. Gentoo-based Live CD: (you'll have to pick a mirror or use BT)

It's GL, and right now supports nvidia and fglrx (ATI) drivers. I ran it on
my Athon XP 2500+, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9550 (256MB video RAM) and it was
very smooth graphically (reading from the CD was obnoxiously slow, but
that's the Live CD blues).

The readme mentioned some tricks you can do with the Super key.
Did anyone figure out where the Super key is? I didn't.

On your MIT keyboard. I am inclined to map it to the little menu key on the lower right on newer PC keyboards.

It is supposed to be mapped to the "Windows key", but it does not work. Appears to be a bug in the mapping. (I have seen lots of complaints from people trying to get zoom to work, which is mapped there on Kororaa.)
