transfer speeds and latency varies quite a bit. most of the time its faster than DSL, but slower than cable internet. Latency isnt as bad as you might think (being cell tech, not wire), but most of the time i dont notice it (like right now, im on a shell session, and there is no percievable lag). Im in glenwood right now, and I have 5 bars(signal strength), it works with just one, but more bars is betters. The problem i have is that you cannot buy the equipment.
