After far too much fiddling to be healthy, I have finally gotten it
working again... I believe the latest upgrade did something wierd to the
configuration. I reinstalled about everything and somehow it worked....
Scroll Lock still doesn't light up the LED, so I'll keep tinkering some...
Thanks all,
Martin

I am using XFCE4, and it appears not to have any such option.
I got Caps Lock working by messing around with it, reinstalling it a
few times, etc. I don't know what made it work though.
Still, however, Scroll Lock doesn't work and I can't change to a
virtual console. In addition, the Logo and File keys don't work (those
aren't very important, but they might help debug things).
I am using the Dvorak layout for my keyboard, and it is specified in
xorg.conf. I tried changing back to us, and it gives the following error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ setxkbmap us
Couldn't interpret _XKB_RULES_NAMES property
Use defaults: rules - 'xorg' model - 'pc101' layout - 'us'
Couldn't find rules file (xorg)

You may have already looked at this, but it may be helpful
to post the InputDevice section(s) of your xorg.config file.
