Quentin Hartman will be giving an overview of how Free and Open Source Software can be used effectively in a K-12 educational environment to meet needs that would otherwise go unmet. The presentation will attempt to cover the following: -Where does FOSS fit in K-12? -How does educational pricing for software affect decision making? -Specific examples of FOSS succeses seen in South Lane School District.
