Greetings,

all is well, but need two small indications of advice.

I am having 2 problems: Open Office and WiFi with my Fedora Core 3
Linux Laptop.

<snip detailed problem information>

I'm not familiar with Fedora Core 3 particularly, so I doubt I would
have any good distro-specific insights for you. In fact, is there a
particular reason you are using Core 3? I'm not much of a Fedora fan,
but it has improved leaps and bounds since 3 was released. Unless
you've done a lot of customizing and isntalling of packages outside of
the Fedora repositories, I'd wager going to a newer release would iron
out the problems you are seeing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't
the OOo in Core 3 in the 1.x series? That by itself would make it
worth while. But I digress....

Regarding your wireless, what kind of wireless hardware is in your
laptop? Was it working before and suddenly stopped? What wireless
tools are you using to make it work? It seems like you are associating
with the AP, but are you getting an IP address?

Regarding the OOo, it looks like it is a problem specific to some KDE
integration. I have little KDE expertise, so I'd not likely have good
information for you, sorry. I'd suggest googling the first few lines
of the errors that are common, it will likely turn up something
useful.
