Wha?  With 500Mhz and 128MB RAM, dual DVI and 16-bit stereo I/O, I would see this as aa really nice addition in say a straw-bale house -- put in PoE, and a combo of HD monitor & ~10-inch touchscreen, and audio, and a wireless keyboard and mouse.... vogue home entertainment PC, streaming from the fanless mini-itx behind the scenes.  Sure the high-end systeem is almost 700USD, and it does not have surround sound.

What were you looking at, Bob?  I see the dual 1/8" audio in & out jacks, and an analog monitor plug, along with the USB and the silly mis-placed power jack,  at:

FWIW, I found these can be purchased through Dell using SKU's on this page:
http://www.chippc.com/distribution/dell/index2.asp
(although I could find no menttion on Dell's site)

There are similar models (not fitting into a dual-switch/socket-box)... which run linux, for example:

Not only that, you still have to plug in the PC itself - there's a little
power jack on the front, so you'd have a PC mounted in a jack, and a power
cable hanging off it running to an electrical jack (unless you have PoE).

And it runs WindowsCE :(
