I have this horrible memory of Progeny's sekrit internal discussion about the possibility of extending apt so that it could decrypt packages with an authorization key before installing them. There was even discussion of the possibility of adding support to contact an https server listed in the package metadata to submit payment directly from apt-get. apt-get buy autocad I expect Canonical is probably not going be implementing that into apt directly, thankfully. _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
