What codec(s) do you use?
I still haven't done much with that Hauppauge MVP I bought last year.
I set it up with the factory software and watched a few hours of
programming on it, but it had video artifacts all over the place.
I downloaded the open source firmware for it but haven't had a chance
to play with it yet.
The reason I bring this up is that the MVP has a hardware MPEG
decoder, and it's very low power, around 5 watts.
