I strongly suggest installing cron-apt so that it updates itself daily
if not more often. Today a machine that's 24 hours behind on security
updates is a machine wearing an "OWNZ0R M3!" sign taped to its back.

    # apt-get install cron-apt

Then look through the config in /etc/cron-apt. I don't think it needs
tweaking but I'm not certain.
