"The Software Freedom Law Center says that after 1 October 2006, there
will be no significant patent claims interfering with employment of
the GIF format."

so I think that we should have a .gif exchange on the euglug.org website.

here's how it will work.

You make a .gif and send it to the list, we'll collect all the .gifs
and put them on a page of the website  where we can visit and be
grateful for the .gifs you've given us.

ground rules are:
   your .gif should be made with free software,
   and it should be safe for work
