Interesting. Could you expand a bit on 'old version of Mailman running on
EFN' vs. newer versions running on _does-it-matter?_ (beyond than having a
spamfilter upstream of the MTA that feeds Mailman).
None of my lists is 'moderated'(in Mailman's narrower sense) --just set
to post-by-members-only. One of the lists is listed on public web pages
for years, and shows up in Google, but gets close to no spam; it's on OPN
(former EFN) lists. But I have to admit I just don't know about OPN's spam
filter strategy...
