If only it weren't a joke. Spent last week trying to scour IE from my
machine. It's amazing to shift-delete the IE executable and then watch
it reappear after a few seconds. Talk about the thing that couldn't be
killed.
But surprise, I somehow did manage to cripple IE, simply by d'loading
and installing ie6setup.exe. Now I can't get it to open on my win2k
box--and it stopped popping up that goddam "this website is not
available offline" every time I opened windoze explorer.
If you can't beat 'em, eat 'em.
