I've not played with PF in some time.  I don't remember it being that
hard.  OpenBSD does not have a Java ports package due to the software
license that Java is released under.  You can build your own build of
Java on OpenBSD though.  It looks like NetBSD had Java packages.  I
don't know if there are any licensing restrictions.
