Yes! And hey, in the early days of highspeed, when the notion of broadband was just emerging, there was a 3d online format that showed promise--what was it called? Jeez, where's my brain this morning?

I work in 3d pretty much on a daily basis, and it seems like there was a format that mandelbrot engines like Lightwave could render to, specifically for webshow. God, what was it called . . . ?

(Don't you LOVE posts like mine? "His brain is obviously draining").

THAT being said, watch out for black ABS as a solar collector, IIRC it is not UV-resistant and will break down, and in that exposure may offgas too.

Good hit. Makes sense. ABS is made to go underground, where there ain't a lot of UV.

The shower I mentioned is fairly primitive and meant to be used outdoors--pretty much your classic nude hippy commune shower.

I loved it 'cause you could just go down the plumbing aisle at Jerry's and buy everything you need for < $20--but it seems like there's no reason you couldn't use a bit better grade of plastic pipe, and, once it was assembled, just spraypaint it flat black.

Surf around for burning man solar systems, there's a wide variety,

Of course... Should have thought of that. (Isn't burning man the nexus and natal point for all--read "decent"--emerging technology?).

sorry for all the OT stuff folks, I hope you find it in the spirit of DIY and open-sourced knowledge,

Copacetic...

Got plans for a solar shower that's made of black ABS pipe. Total cost
less than twenty bucks. Remember the ole hippy saw, "people's prices?"
