Just a FYI.... Although there was no Duck game at Mac Court last Thursday
eve (the Webfoots were in LA munching on Wildcat), there was a Oregon State
High School Basketball Championship Tournament happening (congrats
Highlanders). The State Tourney was likely not good for parking.

But unless Bobby D joins up with the remaining alive Grateful Dead for a
deja vu impromptu rendezvous at Mac Court, you're probably all safe from
parking issues for the rest of the term... except maybe during Finals week.

The Spot has had issues with parking, but to tell you the truth I didn't
have any issue finding a spot to park. However, if we do meet there in the
future, it should be noted that there is a HUGE parking garage out on 13th
that is within a comfortable walking distance from The Spot. Parking is free
after 6pm, and I found that you can cut diagonally through the 2 bolcks
betwen the garage and the spot, making the trip only slightly longer than
the parking lot to our meeting place at EWEB. As for this week and
Travis...I havn't had an opportunity to talk to him yet, and as such I think
Mr. O's offer is more than gracious and, should probably be considered the
defacto meeting place until either A) I manage to work something out with
the new "host" at the Spot, or B) we find a place that better suits our
needs (nothing against Mr. O's....I like it but it is BFE compared to the
spot for me).

I vote we don't do it at The Spot. I came down last week and ended up
giving up on finding a parking spot and went home. I ended up as far down as
Onyx Street and I still didn't see a single free bit of curb.

Maybe I would have found one if I had looked longer, but by that late into
the week I have no patients left.

The garage can be spiffed up in under 15
minutes. I'll leave it on the table for y'all to decide. There's
still at least a half a dozen root beers.
