Jason. I don't believe this. Again, Mandriva (Mandrake when I was using it), is almost a trouble free install with some minor h/w install hiccups. Ubuntu is basically a trouble free install (as easy as a Windows install)... only lacking Flash & Video codec issues, for which, Mandriva and other distros have already resolved with a simple package install. This is basically a licensing issue Ubuntu ran into and got cold feet. But! there is hope with the following site for Ubuntu users (well known among Mandriva users): http://plf.zarb.org/ -- Roger http://www.eskimo.com/~roger/index.html Key fingerprint = 8977 A252 2623 F567 70CD 1261 640F C963 1005 1D61 Fri May 4 12:30:01 PDT 2007 _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
