I'm CC'ing Professor Zhang directly. Ogg Theora[1] is the ideologically correct video codec for Linux, as it is not patent-encumbered and a Free implementation is available. ffmpeg2theora[2] is a handy tool to convert many video formats to Theora. It's available for Linux and Windows. I've taken the liberty of converting the LinuxFest video clips to Theora, and I've posted them to this URL.[3] Prof. Zhang, if you'd like to use these, can you please copy them to your own site, as I don't have the bandwidth to serve them widely. N.B., some of the clips have silent audio. The robots are very cool, BTW, especially since kids built them.
