O'Reilly is great.
And so is OSCAMP.
O'Reilly really helped Brandon Sanders and others put OSCAMP together last year.
They provided free space and much equipment in the Oregon Convention Center
next to the main conference itself and promoted OSCAMP as being an adjunct
to the conference. And they are doing this again this year. O'Reilly is also
providing many Open Source groups with space for community meetings and
they give booth space to many non-profit Open Source groups in the Expo.

And yes, do come to OSCON - even if you can't afford to attend the pay
sessions. Come on Wednesday and/or Thursday which are the days they
have the Expo and OSCAMP - both of which are free. And there are parties.
And Birds of the Feather sessions and it is sometimes cool just to hang out
of the halls and talk to people.

It is well worth driving up from Eugene for a day (or two if you have a place
to stay).

 Sincerely,
 David Mandel

I know O'Reilly is a business, but if they're so supporting of user groups,
why won't they feature OSCAMP more? Don't miss it!
