Alright, all the old mail is coming through. This should make
for an interesting evening. My suggestion for a readily
available somewhat linux friendly is the Sandisk Sansa line. I
have the e280 which works as either USB mass storage or with
libmtp. Successfully loaded a few albums onto it and works well.
Good sound, crappy FM tuner, nice easy to read color screen. The
8GB model can always be found on sale for $150.
