I have in the past used Code Weavers
http://www.codeweavers.com/products/ cross over product. It seems to
work when just vanilla wine fails to work. You might also try use one
of the execution modes meaning run the application in Windows XP mode
or Windows ME/98/95 mode.

You should have /usr/bin/winecfg when you run that you can click on
the "Applications" tab and then select the version of Windows. I
think the default is Windows 2000. I would all so look at the wine
wiki @ http://wiki.winehq.org/FrontPage .
