For what it is it works well. The keyboard felt a bit cramped, and I think I will be waiting for the 10-inch model.
But it did seem rugged and responsive. I could see it living in my pack and accompanying me on photo trips. The price concerns me. Had they been able to bring it in at > 300 it would be a monster hit. As it is a full blown laptop with a hard drive is not that much more. I predict teenage bloggers will love these things like mad.
