Yes, that is the place I expected to find it.  I had
searched it before my posting.

I swear they used to have sensitivity on that page at one
time.  My Dad has shaky hands and I had to make the mouse
extremely insensitive for him to use it.  (He no longer uses
the computer, so I didn't notice when this went away.)

Thank you.  "man mousedrv" told me what I needed.
        Option          "Sensitivity"           "0.5"
Works just the way I want it.
