Agreed :) rec.humor.funny was integral among my first internet experiences, circa Jan '92 - '94. Funny how the phone which I could've been laughing with friends directly on, was dialing up a local unix bbs which was not connected full-time but would make transfers to the nearby university a few times a day, for email and usenet and such. FTP by email, now that was a funny joke too...
