The Lane County Chapter of the Software Association of Oregon (SAO) will host its monthly meeting at Symantec's Springfield site, 555 International Way. June's meeting will be held on Thursday, June 19th from 6 to 8 PM. Jim Lindly, LCC's Small Business and Technology Development Center Director, Will Present the Business Support Services that LCC Offers for Technology and Innovation Businesses at the June Meeting of the Lane County Chapter of the Software Association of Oregon.

The Oregon State Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBDC) network granted LCC's SBDC center with the "Technology" accreditation during the last national review. The Technolgy accredidation was given because LCC's SBDC was able to demonstrate that technology and innovation startups can receive support services from LCC that meet their unique needs . LCC's Center, located in Downtown Eugene, is now an SBTDC, Jim Lindly will explain the primary resources available to technology businesses (many which are free or at low cost), and will discuss examples of some of the Lane County businesses LCC has helped in the past. The presentation will conclude with questions and Jim is encouraging an open discussion where he will respond to audience queries concerning individual business issues.

There is no cost for this monthly meeting. Light refreshments will be provided. Business and technical professionals working in any aspect of the computer technology industry, including software application development, network administration, web development, etc., are encouraged to attend. The meeting is also open to providers of professional services who work with technology clients.
