I would like to let everyone know about a security conference we are
organizing in the Portland area on Nov 6, 2008.
This is a one day event from 8 am to 6pm with breakfast, lunch and a
cocktail reception afterwards - all included. The conference focus is
on information security, risk management and is intended for people
interested in or tasked with IT, Security, Risk Management or
Compliance responsibilities. This event is billed as a Security
conference for Credit Union folks in the Northwest, however I realize
the topics will be of interest to the broader technical community as
well, so I thought this group may be interested as well. It would be
great if we could post information about this conference in event
calendars where appropriate.
Yep, this was originally scheduled for the end of July, but was
postponed to November.
