Also worth mentioning, serial console redirection (which is typically found on 
most server boards and a few higher end desktop boards) and Intel AMT (vPro) 
give you remote access via serial or ethernet. AMT has a seperate MAC address 
and can be communicated with a PC regardless of power state.
