Hi Mark, Those commands helped. I found out that the phone number is stored in the Mulitech modem. At least that's something I can deal with. Thanks Bob

I don't recall if 5.5 had it but I'm almost sure it does. Try running 'scoadmin modem manager' from a terminal.
