[I've been looking forward to this talk for a while...] Application Lifecycle Management, Linda Ballas 6:30pm Tuesday, Mar 16th Eugene City Brewery (downstairs)
Application Lifecycle Management focuses on the discipline of IT asset management of software assets. ALM becomes increasingly important as companies grow, mature, and collect more and more software assets. Efficient Application Lifecycle Management provides processes and guidelines for bringing new technologies and applications in house as well as retiring those that no longer serve their purpose. This presentation walks through the ALM discipline and how it can be applied. Linda Ballas has spent her entire career in the Information Technology domain, including roles such as Network Administrator, System Administrator, Programmer, Systems Analyst, Technical Specialist, Software Engineer, Software Architect and Enterprise Architect. She currently directs an Information Technology department managing a range of software and hardware products and implementations. Her duties include oversight of design and delivery of technology assets, technology asset management, long range and short term planning, and development of the Information Technology team as key contributors to the Avant Assessment business. Linda also serves as adjunct faculty for two universities, teaching Information Technology courses to undergraduates majoring in IT or Business. _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
