Anyone using a Linux podcast client they particularly like/dislike?
I use podget <http://podget.sourceforge.net/>. (Actually I use a
slightly modified form of it. There were a couple minor things I didn't
like about it, but since the program is actually just an elaborate bash
script, it was simple (and fun) to tweak it. I could even send you my
changes if you wanted.)
It's perfect if you just want a simple command-line program that you can
run via a cron job in the background.
But if you're looking for a GUI, I hear gpodder is indeed nice.
Banshee and Rhythmbox can also do Podcasts, but the thing with those is
that, to my knowledge, you can't set them up to run automatically with a
cron job or anything, which kinda defeats the purpose of an aggregator
for me--I like my podcasts to already be there, waiting patiently for me
in the directory when I look =)
