That is disappointing considering what a road-block internet-access related 
fees are to potential internet-based start-ups. I wish for once mega-corps like 
Google et al would start looking just a little further ahead than their own 
immediate interests and understand that free web-access means more people start 
up home-based businesses, means they generate more capital, means they have 
more disposable income, means they BUY MORE OF YOUR OVER-PRICED "STUFF"...etc..

I don't know but given that the big boys want to sew up all the
spectrum they can so they can set up their toll booths on it, I'm
doubtful that there's a public interest lobby powerful enough to get
spectrum allocated for toll-free use.
