There is a rogue DHCP server on my local comcast broadcast domain. I've narrowed it down to a single mac address, but the mac address belongs to a modem which isn't the source of the DHCP broadcasts -- it's likely a home gateway plugged in backwards to the modem. Is there a way to cripple it or to ignore it's dhcp offers so I can get back online? I'm using dhcp3, btw, on an ubuntu distribution as my home router. If you want details, I've got lots of diagnostic data from my router (packet captures, dhcp logs, etc). Also, I've debugged the holy cheddar out of my home network, so I'm 99.9% sure it's not me.
