This is a bit late going out, but one of my professors at University of
Oregon has been organizing a Security conference here in Eugene on April
1st. (yes, I know, the choice of date is a bit humorous.) There will be
some fairly well known speakers as well as presentations of student work and
industry panels to discuss "current challenges facing business in Oregon
from a security perspective". Registration is free, so take a look at the
