When I am running 10.04 this will upgrade the individual apps to the latest
version released on 10.04. It will not upgrade to 10.10. There is a "wall"
between 10.04 and 10.10. What I'm wondering is whether there is a similar
wall between 11.04 beta and 11.04. It appears that nobody here knows.

I'm not sure but I think that if you go "sudo apt-get upgrade" that it will
upgrade you to the current version.

Ubuntu 11.04 is still in beta. I plan to do some travel soon.
I would like to be running 11.04 on this trip. But I'm not
so sure about beta long term. Do any of you know, if I install
beta now, will it be upgraded to the full non-beta release
by apt-get when 11.04 goes non-beta? Or will I have to perform
a new install?
