Course Description:
Attendees will learn how to get Android and Linux up and running on the
Freescale i.MX53 QuickStart board(ARM Cortex-A8 ) They will also learn
how to build a Linux host environment to build Linux/Android kernels,
drivers, and applications. Laptops will be provided during the class.
Attendees will leave the seminar with a DVD containing a VMware image of
the host Linux environment used in class, which can be used to develop
Linux or Android applications for the Quick Start Board on any
Windows-based computer.
