Hello beach lovers of Europe,
you may have heard of the Copa Pescadisco - the Mallorcian beach hat
tournament in October. From now on it comes in two flavors !
In 2010 we proudly present the '1. SPRING COPA PESCADISCO' with two
major alterations:
1) it takes place in April
2) it is a TEAM tournament
You will recognize most of the known and proven elements from the Hat
Copa. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to participate
here are the main facts:
- Open / Beach, captains decide on a game-to-game basis on min. girls on
the line
- 12+ teams (we are quite flexible here)
- 2+ pitches
- Games start at 11am on Friday, April 16th, and end around 4pm on
Sunday, April 18th
- close accommodation (~5min walk)
- No team fee
- 95 Euro player's fee (incl. 2 nights accommodation & breakfast, a very
decent welcome dinner, party, water, sand ...)
- at least one pickup team
- excellent air connections
As always the tournament takes place in Puerto de Alcudia, which is
45min away from the airport and quite accessible by airport shuttle bus.
The registration starts *now* and ends February 1st.
